Love this! Can’t wait to see all of the amazing discussions/plans you all come up with. 
So I’m traveling from Puebla, México to McAllen or Houston (still not sure) and there I’ll meet with #CodeQueen Nayeli for the Road trip she organized to New Orleans. And rented an Airbnb place shared with 2 other girls. And well, after the Congress, I’m planning on staying maybe for a couple of nights more… I’m so excited to meet everybody from everywhere around! So what are your plans!?

Tips:

Share rides with friends (Uber / Lyft). This will help you save money. Download the app!

Leave enough space in your suite case for swag (you could be taking gifts home).

BRING business cards and/or your information to pass out to new people you meet

Check the weather and dress accordingly (wear comfortable shoes for walking and exploring)

Don’t forget your laptop & chargers!

Have a camera ready ---- you will want to take LOTS of pictures and share them because they may be featured somewhere … someday

Find a local person & do the ‘local’ things together (personal tour guides are the best)

Talk to as many people as possible
Wish I could stay longer but I have a daughter at home that needs back ‘asap’ BUT I did stay extra days in Miami at last years WixCon and it was SO MUCH FUN because I got to hangout with amazing people … go out to dinner … and enjoy getting to know them.
Thanks a lot for your tips list! It is so much helpful, just great. Too bad you cannot stay longer after the event, but I’m sure we will have the same fun. Can’t wait to meet.
