What options -> Password protect a page

Hi guys. I need to make a ‘sos’ page. This page must be password protected. First the idea of the page.

I’m a ultra runner an have an alert band around my arm with basic information and on the back to go to my site and click SOS. That page is conditional available when I enable it. The password will be certain information from my alert band. When you go through more phone numbers will appear and a send email/sms alert which will fire to preconfigured people a message with dynamic data which is will be auto filled. This whole part is no big deal.

The login screen is. You can’t modify the default login of a password screen (that is what the documentation says). The login screen must have a very simple short instruction with a specific image to help get the password. So I do have a few other options.

  1. I can make a login form with a html element. Then the password is postmessaged back to wix which checks it in a backend script and on okay passes the entire new site code back to the html element. So that code is stored on the backend. There are a few cons on the alert part then.
  2. host the page else where, but then I need a entire new hosting provider just for this
  3. Create a custom page with an input field and button and then do the rest just like step 1.

What other options do I have? Or how would you do this?

Wait just a bit?

Login screen customization is coming soon.
