I have a spreadsheet where the first column is a list of names all of which start with numbers (1002-1154) e.g. 1002-woman-blue-denim-jacket-macbook-pro-scarabtrust.
The csv rows are in number order (1002-1154). When I upload it the first row of the collection goes from 1122 to 1154, then 1002 to1121.
When I add a sort to the collection it then matches the csv file (1002 to 1154).
Anyone know why this happens? I can fix it but there must be a reason!?
Hey @Mark_Johnston!
Firstly, welcome to the community. Glad to have you here.
As you mentioned, it’s possible to sort the collection according to the field you want to view which means you can see all the data in the specific order you need to see it in.
I’m not certain on the reason things were in a different order, although setting your own sort and filters is the best way of viewing the data the way you need
Thank you. That was my conclusion, but I’m intrigued to know why they uploaded that way. I have a knack for finding software glitches so will probably never find out!
