Am I missing where tables are in the list of widgets? I’ve been working with a repeater, connected to a dataset, then using a grid in the item and two containers to create two columns. It’s a lot of work, but I can’t find any tables except the Wix Table widget and that also is much more complicated than a regular table under the standard Wix editor.
Thanks, Sebi. That is what I ended up stumbling on. I needed to have header rows at random intervals, so I put a container (for the header) and a repeater inside a stack, and then stacked them all together. This was the only way I found to give the header different formatting than the body. Is there another way?
I can’t believe I’m in a 2 years old post and we still can’t add a table in Editor X or even add your own Google sheet… Using repeaters is not a “workaround” at all. I am building a sports league website and right now I can’t add a team/player stats table in there
Can we request for the table to be added? Almost 2 and a half years now since requested. Repeaters are not a viable workaround. The original Wix still has more components than EditorX…
Hi There, Backend Developer (/ Product Manager) trying to help a front-end developer here, I’m trying to make a widget with a grid of Squares, with text inside each of the boxes. Literally just trying to do a 3x3 table with a 1px border to make 9 square boxes within the Widget.
Am I correct in saying that in 5 Years, Wix Studio, The Main Creation Tool for the Main Product of the entire company, Has not yet created a way for Developers to add a TABLE Element to their Extensions? Because I can’t find the “Table” element, and searching for it led me here.
