Where do I place a Java Skript HTML Code directly in the footer, not using an Iframe?

Dear Community Members,

I hope one of you as the real experts is willing to support me with my above question. In more Detail: I habe added an Iframe to my website footer (so far not having ever used Corvid), this Iframe contains the following Java Script Code:

(There is also a PHP Code if that works better?)

It is showing a star rating from a rating portal, which is supposed to be shown on google search results for my website - the problem ist that google can not read it this way. Now a super kind WIX support person told me, that using Corvid and with the help of you I might be able to place it in the right spot.
Just FYI my (not officially launched) website is www.gina-friedrich.com/?lang=en

If it doesn’t work in the footer, I could also place it unter the reference section.

I appreciate taking the time helping me with my maybe small but super important request - it makes a difference for me in officially launching my first own business
Thanks in advance and warm regards from Germany!
Gina

You don’t have a direct access to the HTML code of your site, therefore, you cannot add tags to the header/footer of your site.

The only option is adding HTML iframe.

You can get more information about it here.

Thanks a lot for your fast response. Although it’s not what I was wishing for. I thought the Corvid Tool enables me to do exactly that? If it is not in the footer, can I add a HTML Script somewhere in the Website body?

I appreciate your help, thank you!
Gina

@ginadfriedrich You can use an HtmlComponent to embed HTML code in your page. For more information, see the article Working with the HTML element .

@ginadfriedrich A more secure way to handle web service requests is by using backend (server-side) code. Using backend code you can secure your passwords, API keys, and other secret information. The article Accessing 3rd Party Services explains how this is done. I recommend checking with the service provider to see if they provide a REST interface.

@yisrael-wix Thank you very much! But this is an iFrame again - which doesn’t work for google to show the rating in a search :-/

I was told by the kind WIX supporter that maybe someone can tell me where to place the code using Corvid. But it seems that is not possible…?

Oh my… :-/
Thanks a million everyone!

You can’t embed HTML in a Wix Code page. The only way is using an HtmlComponent or to use the Tracking and Analytics feature.

Dear Yisrael, how would I do the latter? Never heard of it (and really have no experience in this whole HTML & Coding Business :-s))

@ginadfriedrich Refer to the article Sending Tracking and Analytics Events .

A site search for Tracking and Analytics will provide more information.

I am afraid this is all to complex for me to understand without ruining my page accidentally :frowning:
Thank you for your kind support, Yisrael.

Hello,
is there a solution for the integration of provenexpert.com?
It would be very important to me to include the stars in the Google search results.
Best regards
Mike
