I just created my main page with WIX editor and somehow the page itself is called “saracreasy” instead of “index”. So now my home page URL is: https://saracreasy.wixsite.com/saracreasy which is dumb. I want it to be https://saracreasy.wixsite.com/ or https://saracreasy.wixsite.com/index.html
How do I change it? I want to use https://saracreasy.wixsite.com/ as my website address.

You can set your main page as the site’s HOME page. Then when you go to your site, the HOME page will come up by default.
I would recommend reading the Wix Code docs for more information.

Now I understand the issue… The format of the free Wix site URL is **username.wixsite.com/siteaddress. ** Your account name is saracreasy , which uses the URL https://saracreasy.wixsite.com. Within this account you have a site called saracreasy , for which the URL is https://saracreasy.wixsite.com/saracreasy . If you were to create another site under your account, for example sarasplace , then the URL would be https://saracreasy.wixsite.com/sarasplace . Refer to the article Your Site Address (URL) for more information .
If you want a “prettier” URL, then you can always connect a domain to each site in your account that you want. For more information, see the article Connecting a Domain to Your Site .
@yisrael-wix But there is no site https://saracreasy.wixsite.com - it doesn’t exist (broken link). How do I make https://saracreasy.wixsite.com my actual URL? Back in the day I would make an index.html file, and https://saracreasy.wixsite.com would by default go to https://saracreasy.wixsite.com /index.html.
OK, never mind. I see that Wix just doesn’t work that way. I do in fact have a forwarding domain so it’s not hugely important.
