White Box in Background- SOLVED!

This issue was solved by right-clicking the area, clicking ‘design’, and then selecting the clear background. It appears that there was some sort of background colour overriding the footer border.

I created a strip at the bottom of a few pages of my website that is sort of a faux footer (the regular footer is used for different pages). There is a white bar/box below this strip that will not go away. It looks like a part of the background that is not filling with the background video.

How do I make this white area go away or fill with the rest of the background?

Also- is there a way to hook the black strip to the very bottom of the page so it looks like a real footer? It will not go down any farther.

Use the ‘Layers’ option in the Wix Editor to see if you can select it and delete the white strip.
