Why am I seeing this?

I just started getting this message:
Internal wixData error: Internal Server Error [request-id: 48444c09-5afa-4e9b-aa36-7b52d2f14e2d]
How do I fix it?

Brian,

can you please share more info? where do you see this and what are you trying to implement? is it within the site editing?

Shlomi

It appears in my Data Collections.

I imported this collection and then added the image field after. The other items accepted the image without any issues. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I created a new item (ID: Forestville) via copy & paste from the item with the error (ID: Forestville/MysteryCave). “Forestville” accepted the same image I wanted to add to the other without any issues.

I left the collection in order to remove the error message, and returned to the collection to delete the old “Forestville/MysteryCave,” but I cannot delete it from either the Live or Sandbox.

I am seeing it in other collections that I have imported.

Can you please share your site url?

Hi Brian, thanks for the info!

I’ll forward the details to Wix Engineering to further look into this case, we will keep you posted

Hi Brian,

we have uncovered the issue and working on fixing it. Apparently, we have an issue with handling objects with ids that contain a slash (/).

If you have an option you could reimport your data with alternative ids that do not contain slashes, that would immediately solve the issue.

Thank you for reporting!

Brian,

although it may make sense to use those website urls for counties as keys, but i’d recommend you use values which may not change from time to time, just a virtual name id, or a number, just as a better practice

hope it makes sense,
Shlomi

As you can probably tell, I am a beginner. I want to learn, so I appreciate getting advice. Can you explain it a bit more?

If I remove the url as a value, how do I link to their website? And, if their web address does change, wouldn’t it be simpler to change the url in one location as opposed to changing all the links?

Again, I am a beginner, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m missing something.

Brian,

The website url is indeed important, i was only suggesting you add a new column to the counties collection as the key which can be a number 1,2,3… Or 3 letters shortcut of the name etc. That value will be used just to link a county to other collections and serve as the county collection’s key. The url will be there as any other county collection value.

Oh, okay. I got it now. Thank you, Shlomi.
