I’m not sure how it was relating products together but is there a way of connecting related products to make this gallery actually show related products?

If you are simply talking about the Wix Stores own Related Products addon as stated here.

Then it is not a code related issue and you should be going through Wix Support for more help with it.

Note:
It is not possible to select the products that appear in the Related Products gallery. If you prefer to choose them manually, use the Slider Gallery instead.
If you want control of it yourself, then make up your own gallery through code.

@givemeawhisky Yes basically I was thinking that the related products would be items in the same collection but seems not, maybe this should be a feature add to be able to say which collections it shows.

So I’ve managed to add related products to the products page.
The relationship has been set up in the new collection ‘relatedproducts’, products relate by referenced store/products, you cannot use store/collections with the same code, but is there a way to change the code to get products to relate to collections instead?
