every time i click on the dataset i created, it just brings me to the content manager. also i was trying to look add data hook, its no where to be found. can someone help me on this.
It has been moved to the Site Structure, simply click on the gear/cog icon and you will find it.

GOS, i am not using wix store dataset does this matter?
No, it was just for the example to show you.
Just note that the Wix app collections don’t have all the datahooks options whereas any new dataset that you add to your website will have the full list of datahooks available to you.
