Why is my Wix site showing "this site can't be reached" after publishing for the first time?

I’m having trouble with The site shows “This site can’t be reached” on desktop and “Network connection was lost” on mobile. This is the first time I have published this site. The site appears as Published in my Wix Dashboard and works perfectly in Preview mode, but is inaccessible to anyone trying to visit the live URL.

Troubleshooting I have already tried:

  • Cleared browser cache and DNS cache (chrome://net-internals/#dns)
  • Opened the site in a private/incognito window
  • Tried multiple different browsers
  • Tested on mobile using 4G data (different network, not WiFi)
  • Republished the site multiple times from the Wix Editor
  • Verified the page slug and URL are correct

None of the above resolved the issue. The site remains unreachable across all devices and networks.

Can you share a link to the site? It would help identify if this is happening just on your end, or if others are also experiencing the same.

Have you recently connected a domain to the site, or is it using the free Wix domain (e.g. username.wixsite.com/sitename)

It’s not loading with me

I tried using another device and different browsers but problem is still showing
