I have a question about a part of Wix it’s own Privacy Policy. Because English is not my first language, something is not completely clear to me. I aslo asked the same thing to the Support Section of Wix to clearify a part of their Privacy Police to me, although instead of helping me they only told me “This is already written in the Policy” With a link to the page. So that didn’t quite help.
My question is about Users-of-user information and what Wix acually does with all this information.
At the top of the Privacy Policy they call the User (Me, the owner of the Users-website) the “Controller” (The one responseable for the Users-of-user information) and Wix calls themselves the “Data Processor”.
So now my real question:
Does Wix use the information of my site users/visitors for their own benifit? Does Wix sell users-of-user information or use this kind of information on anything else that benifits themselves or does Wix share is with third parties for any other reason?
If wix does not use the information of my site visitors but only stores it for me then they are indeed a ‘Data Processor’. But if Wix does use this information for any other goal without my written permission then they are also a Controller and so responseable for how they use this date themselves and not me for their actions.
I need to know this so I can write it down correctly in my own privacy policy how my users information is being used and for what reason.
If anyone could help me to clear this out it would be truly awesome.
