Please please please write up more information regarding how to use data hooks! I have been struggling with getting some setup and would love to have more documentation/videos on how to properly do them. I know there are some Wix tutorials already but they are very simple examples that just combine a first and last name.

What do you want to know regarding Data Hooks?

@andreas-kviby I struggle with knowing when to use which type of data hook. Example would be if I just want to import a CSV or manually enter data into the collection and want the calculations saved to the collection at that moment, examples of calculations you can make, examples of aggregations, etc. I just find the material that is currently available very limited use case and not as helpful for real world applications. Thanks in advance

@poolshark314 Hey
Data Hooks should in my opinion only be used when you want to modify the item just changed, inserted, deleted or if you want to do something with that data like sending all new items added to a Google Sheet or similar usage.

I can of course try to think on some scenarios but it will always be better if you have use case where you need it.

@andreas-kviby A use case would be automatically performing a mathematical computation on 2 number fields on data that is already imported into the collection, or will be imported into the collection via CSV, will be manually entered into the collection via the collection editor, or will be updated via a submit form that is custom built into the site

@andreas-kviby I have an example. How about if you have 2 collections: 1 with individual results and 1 blank collection that you want to contain the totals for each person over the course of years. How would you have it so the totals of the all the individual results for a year grouped by individual are saved to the blank collection?
