My question is about the e-mail automations and dynamic values. I have an automated e-mail that sends out an email one day after a new subscriber has enrolled. We are trying to make a discount email that is set within 10 days after the email is sent.

I’m using Wix Editor

Let’s say my automated e-mail triggers on July 2, 2024 then the dynamic value date in the e-mail should state July 12, 2024. It’s always 10 days so If it triggered on July 3, then the date should show July 13.

While the Wix Automations delay option allows for sending a discount email after a set time, it doesn’t directly trigger based on when the welcome email was sent. This means the 10-day timer starts from the moment the automation workflow initiates, not from the welcome email delivery.

To address this limitation, here are two alternative approaches:

  • Adjusted Timeframe: In the delay option, set a slightly longer timeframe (e.g., 12 days) to compensate for any potential delay between the workflow initiation and the welcome email delivery.
  • Manual Adjustment: If the subscriber list is manageable, consider manually sending a discount email campaign approximately 10 days after sending the welcome email blast.

By incorporating the delay option and considering the limitations, you can create a more targeted discount email campaign within Wix Automations.
