I’m working on setting up a unique payment flow that includes inserting to a database when a payment is successful. Specifically, my use case is PayPal payments.
While coming up with this, I want to test it, is there a credit card number I can use, or a way to make the backend think that a transaction went through? It would not be very smart to implement something with Wix Pay and not know if it works until it’s already being used.
When I test Wix Pay all the way through to the PayPal payment, I temporarily set the item selected to a very small amount. Obviously, after I’m satisfied that it’s working properly and ready to go live, I set the item back to the real amount.
Did you find a way to test this without having to make an actual purchase (even for a small amount as suggested)?
