Wix Payment Provider Service Plugin and Processing Fees

I have been looking at the Wix Payment Provider Service Plugin as a solution for a client of ours that is a Digital Payment Service Provider. We want to integrate their payment system as an option on one of our websites.

The express purpose of doing so is bypassing all of Wix’s payment processing fees, as this service’s fees are lesser. However, in my discussion with a member of the Wix Support team, I was told that utilizing Wix’s Payment Provider Service Plugin does not actually bypass any of those fees. Does anyone have experience with this? Is this information correct?

In regards to processing fees - since they happen at the level of the provider, and this setup is a direct integration with the provider, the fees will be in accordance with the provider connected.
