Hi, Yes Turbo supported on FF as well. Did you compared it to Chrome?
@alexander-jdanov Hi, yes, sure. Chrome, Opera, Yandex - all is well. But when using Firefox very slowly.
UPDATED:
I checked again just now. Now everything is better. Could this be related to the Wix updates?
Repeaters load the data from the dataset for a few seconds and then it all disappears. Chrome is showing bolt-worker.js:17 as the error source
I have seen this same bolt-worker.js error in other browsers: Opera, Firefox, Waterfox, even Tor. Sometimes it only affects Chromium/Webkit browsers, other times Firefox-based, but usually it’s one or the other. Not sure why they alternate.
Hi shan,
I see the site does a LOT of wixData (and therefore, network) calls, which seem unintentional.
Check the code in dataset1_ready - it looks like a loop within a loop and inside it calling the same single exact thing (forEachItem inside onItemReady, calling calculateForex without any distinguishing parameters).
@ofer-wix Thanks Ofer
I understand the problem now.
Is there a limit on the number of network requests we can make inside a function?
@shantanukumar847 Glad I could help ![]()
I believe you can remove also the “forEachItem” - it’s still making it do the same thing 11 times instead of just once.
@ofer-wix My sleep deprived brain would have never seen that I’m stupidly retrieving the forex rate again and again using the onItemReady & forEachItem function.
Thank you so much for pointing this out!!
@eugene-m Maybe related to our changes, please update me if it’s happening again.
