My website is down because “wix-users” returns null now.
I have a critical logic in my website using the “currentUser id” field.
What can I do? I have complaining customers and my website is broken, it started happening today, I thought that the code should continue working as it is, maybe it’s a bug?
What is the alternative now that wix-users isn’t available anymore?

Why do you think wix-users can’t be used anymore? I know it’s deprecated but as I understand it, it is still working?
The import object is null now 
The moment you touch the code and publish again - it’s gone forever. Seems like it’s working only for idle unchanged pages
