I heard on youtube that Wix was moving away from Velo and to SDKs? I guess this has something to do with Wix not recognizing certain npms and so forth?
Also, check out this screenshot… am I blind and have never noticed this before or is it new?

Hi, docmalc !!
I see. I wasn’t familiar with this topic at all, so this was very informative. Thank you. Are you referring to this matter? Regardless of whether it’s related or not, it seems like an important topic.
Hello! Yes - while SDK has been around, we have begun the gradual update of the documentation and features to support using the SDK on websites and in Wix Blocks.
While Velo will be eventually deprecated, this does not mean that your code will ever break. It means that in the future, new features will roll out to SDK and when/if you need those new features you will want to migrate.
What you are seeing in the editor is a cool time-saving feature. When you write code that requires an NPM import, the editor will give you this warning and a 1-click installation option which will save you some time. (I’m not sure if this has rolled out to all yet for anyone passing through)
Here’s a post with some information, documentation, and a video on how to approach migration. Please let us know if you have any questions as you are exploring the SDK.
