When using wixLocation.to a full url site, why is it reloading the whole page?
I’m actually using a button to link to a specific page inside my Wix Forum. Maybe you’ll ask why not using the traditional linking? Because I need to utilize code where on button click: a box is collapsing and it takes me to that specific page. The page itself is actually within my website, but using “/forum/specific-page” won’t work.
If using the full url is actually taking me to another site, I think it is okay for it to reload the whole page (well it needs to). But if it is inside my website, I don’t know the usage in reloading the whole page. Any thoughts?
Also can there be an option to choose whether to “open in new tab” or not. Perhaps when this option exists, when using “open in the same tab” there doesn’t need any reloading.
