I have 2 buttons on a page. My desire is to click a button (#button74) and have an image (#image4) show for 2 seconds then disappear.
When the page loads, I would certainly like to make sure the images (#image4 and #image6) are not visible.
A working sample for initially hiding and an example for on_click and then disappearing would be really appreciated.

I did many years of vbasic, and understand object oriented. I just can’t get the hang of JS. Too dang old!

When you select an element you can choose to have it hidden when the page loads.

So that should solve the hiding the pictures part. The showing part is fairly easy as well (put this in the onReady function, and make a second one for the second button/image)

    $w("#image4").show()
setTimeout(() => {
    $w("#image4).hide()
}, 4000); //lenght of time before it's hidden
})
