I’ve got a basic dynamic page that has a few titles then a video then a photo gallery.
Titles and photos have linked fine but I can’t for the life of me get the videos to work.
I’ve tried both YouTube links and Wix uploads to no avail.
The video player is on the page and the video links are on my database but nothing is showing up / playing, the player is just a black box.
I’ve looked all over here,Google and YT for advice but can’t find an answer.
Can anyone help?

I have a similar setup on my site and everything works perfectly. How are the videos stored in your database? Are you connecting the content via the Editor or via code? What video player are you using? You can only populate Wix videos from the database by using the single video player ( not the Wix Video app). The videos always show up as black initially for me, but work once you click play. If you can provide more info and maybe some screenshots I would be able to help you out.
@lmeyer Hello sir, I got a similar problem. Please check the image below. At the moment, I got 2 items in that collection which contains different youtube links, and I connected a single video player to it (shown below), the issue is only the first youtube url appears. Even I am already in item 2 in the live page, it shows only the youtube of the 1st item in that collection.
Also, I cannot see the dataset icon in my editor mode, so that is why in the image below I created 2 datasets which second one is named as dataset2. Can you help me find where is the icon for dataset1?
