Hello, in the Wix product pages, we are given the options to use various styles of layouts to display our products, however, only the “Classic Theme” allows for Zoom on Hover. The “Spotlight” layout lacks this feature and I think it would be appropriate to add it. I believe this is the superior layout but without any user controlled zoom feature, I can’t use it. Also, I think it would be great if your team could implement a “pop-up” feature which displays a zoomed version of the image. This would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

I wish for the same thing. I would love to have the ‘Enable zoom on hover’ checkbox on other product layout too, especially Spotlight. I like the Spotlight layout, the picture and product specs placement and everything, but, sadly, there’s no ‘Enable zoom on hover’ checkbox on it. I’m not sure whether i miss something out or there’s really no option to enable that feature on Spotlight layout. Zooming in the product is really important for the customers to get a better view of the product, especially if it is product that has intricate details such as certain pattern or decoration on apparel. Too bad, only Classic layout have that zooming in feature.
If i were to put a product’s size chart in classic layout, it would appear really weird. Plus, i have quite a lot of product info that i need to put, so, Classic layout is not the right layout for me because it looks imbalance due to all info being on the right side of the page. Though i could enable for collapsing info tabs, It still looks really heavy, it seems like putting all product info, sizing chart, shipping times of product and all those sort of detail on one column, thus leaving a vast blank space under the product picture display. And of course i would not choose to use other layout that don’t even have zooming option. The others are just not good enough to display product without the feature to zoom in to see the detail of the product.
I would say, i like the product display picture of ‘Classic’ layout because it has the ‘zoom on hover’ function which is essential for product display , but, as for the product info sections, i like the layout of ‘Spotlight’. Not sure whether i should keep on experimenting building website on wix or move to its competitors. I kinda like the drop and drag function, but, the product layout miss a really important feature for an e-commerce website. No customer would want to download the image just to zoom in to see the product in detail.

been contacting wix support for this kinda feature and another feature that i really want. their response is something like ‘we will take into consideration etc’. no progress so far. don’t think i have much patience to stick around with wix. guess i will just move to shopify.

it’s ridicoulus that any one activate the zoom for all layut product page.
Please do something for the spotlight layout it’s very important!!!
