"429" when sharing website link

Question:
Hi so my website is www.the-car-stories.com. i usually send the website link to my clients via Instagram and Facebook. Before i changed the background image of the welcome section on my home page, the link used to go with a picture of the car on the home page. Now it just displays “429”. Apparently the issue is too many requests. This only started happening when i changed the background to a video from an image. It’s back to an image now but the error doesn’t go away. Refer to the images below for an idea

What are you trying to achieve:
I want to remove the 429 error and instead have the background image back

I have already tried changing it on social share section and no results

Same here, I have a news website, I share my articles to social media and 429 code appears instead of the article preview.

Are you noticing this happening on specific social media sites, or generally all of them?

Sometimes requesting from each social media to recrawl the site can help, for example FB Debugger tool - Sharing Debugger - Meta for Developers - or LinkedIn Post Inspector - Post Inspector

Most social media have it, and helps them get the most up to date social share information :slight_smile:

Noah the debbugers wont work, any other suggestions. This is a big problem for me. i had an article to post but the link wont provide a preview.

oddly enough the link worked from my facebook app on my phone
