A call for listening to developer input (x-post from CD)

Since day one Corvid (then: Wix Code) has had a “Feature request” section on this Forum. To be straightforward, the thing has become a garbage heap. Compared to the Windows Registry, latter is a textbook example of structured cleanliness. Also, it has become completely opaque which suggestions get implemented, why and why others not.
Therefor, I call for a new “Feature request” system (developed in Corvid, “eat your own dog food”) which does this:

  1. show a top 10 of feature requests (by votes)
  2. show a top 11 to n for others
  3. shows which requests from the top ten list have been implemented historically
  4. if features from the top 10 list do NOT get implemented, at least some clarification from Wix why not
This way, it gets more structured and we actually get some feedback on our request.

Sounds good.

Thanks for your feedback! We’re cooking up something in the pipeline… I agree, we can improve our feedback mechanism. To be clear - we’re listening to all feature requests and taking them into consideration in our roadmaps, and many of the top requests are implemented. We can be better at speaking that out as well.
