I use the blog to announce upcoming events. Wix Blog has very relevant functionalities (video, photo, formatting…) to present the scheduled artists (concerts, theatre, circus, dance…). It would be interesting to imagine a blog for the events!
I would need to be able to classify them more easily each event according to a future date and to be able to archive the past events automatically and that the user can find them easily. Booking or ticketing functionalities could also be added…
