I’ve added an audio file field to my database. Now I want to add a User Input upload button on a form I’m building to have users add mp3 files via upload that would then go to my audio field.
The problem is that with the upload button only supports 1. Images, 2. Videos, and 3. Documents. Surely there should be an option for Audio if that’s one of the fields we can add to a database.

Thanks! I read that thread prior to posting mine. It seemed to deal more with getting wix to support audio files in the database…which they have. It just seems they would also build a way for people to upload via a user input function.

Update: It is possible to upload mp3s into the corvid DB. You can upload them to the media manager and then assign them to a field in Corvid. We don’t have integration with the upload button - meaning users cannot upload yet - but ::shhh:: it’s planned to be implemented. =)

@brett-haralson BUMPETY BUMP! Any progress on this? Man…is this important for three sites I’m building (and more to come).
This isn’t a complete solution…but a first step that would be nice is if an mp3 file could be uploaded into a live database.

It’s possible - but it requires custom code. What you are wanting - an option from
WIX - isn’t available just yet. I did email internally, let me bump it.
Thanks Brett! Obviously, a user input field that would allow users to upload an audio file is the “dream” for me, but right now…a stopgap that would be AMAZING is for a client to login to their dashboard, go to the particular database, click on the files field and add an audio file (mp3). That would solve so many holdups for me with clients.
