I’m finished with designing a client website and I realized their old website will be going away once this transaction is complete. They will need to retain their domain name and I’m not 100% sure what to do about their email domain and messages. Never done this configuration before. The client isn’t very tech savy and they might continue to allow me to be their web admin. Their host vendor is BlueHost and I’ve found instructions on how to transfer the domain, I was just curious if anyone had any further advise on this close out process and possibly what happens to their email messages, etc?

When it comes to an external mail client, typically messages remain in that inbox. They may want to contact their email provider and ask if they can export the messages.
