Hello, I am wondering if anyone has figured out an internal way to use code to add affiliate links that will pay out a percentage of sale through unique affiliate links? Since wixstores does not integrate properly with affiliate software, I am being told I have to use ECWID, and the functionality of this, as a store is different and will require me to reload all my products and lose my history. I would like to stay with wix stores, if I can, and either link affiliate software, or build the affiliate payout systems into the site. thanks in advance! they really need to add an app that works for this.
Well you can try to have a custom product page and push the affiliate link into the cart along with the item as Wix showed in the Print on Demand store Example.
You can retrieve the affiliate link or code from the url using wix location. Apart from that the only thing you can do right now is to request this feature under the community feature requests.
This will show you which order came from which affiliate after which you can manually store them somewhere, thats it.
