The List site element is easy to customise and design but it will be great if it can be connected to a dataset.

Now I will need to be able to sort the list in any order that I want instead of the default A-Z or Z-A. I will post this as new request.
Assuming you’re bringing the data in from a collection, you can do that really easily by setting the sort settings on the dataset.
