Analytics tracking and sub-domain

Hi,
I wish to make my Wix site to be only a sub-domain (app.domain.com) and link the “www” to a non-Wix site.
According to this doc , in order to track subdomains with Google Analytics, I need to set the domain in the tracking code.
If I use GTM, I can set everything, but I need the Analytics to be connected to Wix directly for the “trackEvent” function which documented to work only with GA and FB pixel.

How can I do that?

You can use the Track & Analyze feature for that purpose. For questions about connecting your site to a subdomain and / or using the Track & Analyze feature, please contact Wix Support team as they know best about this.

Hi Tal,
So If I disconnect Google Analytics from Wix and connect Google Tag Manager (with Google Analytics), the “trackEvent” will still work?

@kobi-gamliel It doesn’t :frowning:
I use the same custom event trigger on GTM and since I disconnected GA from WIX it doesn’t trigger
