I’m new to Wix and have an idea for a website I’d like to develop using Google services. I would need to create a webhook to handle post requests from Google. It seems it should be technically possible on the Wix platform. However, Google requires that the domain hosting the endpoint be verified. Does anyone know how this can be accomplished with Wix? Is it possible to add a file to the root of a Wix domain or modify a page meta tag?
I’m on the free plan and would like to make some progress as “proof of concept” before committing to a paid plan, so if there’s a way to verify a Wix domain with Google, I’d really appreciate any info or insights.

Hi,
Verifying a domain with Google requires you to connect a Premium plan to your Wix site.
For free sites, the domain is wixsite.com and you cannot verify it with Google.
The Connect Domain Premium plan is about $8 per month and you if you cancel within the first 14 days you get a full refund.
Thanks for the reply. It appears that free sites get their own subdomain, so I thought it might be possible somehow.
