Wix Blocks appears to be borked.
I cannot open any custom panels for any widget in my Wix Blocks app. When I try to open a panel (i.e. a Settings panel), the panel window appears, the loading indicator in the window spins for about 10-15 seconds, the browser tab becomes unresponsive for a moment and a generic error appears in the panel window.
At first I thought I had done something wrong since I had just pushed an update to the app, but nothing I’ve tried has fixed this.
What I have tried:
- clearing my browser’s cache
- opening Wix Studio in Incognito mode and trying to open the panel from there
- disabling my ad blocker
- using Firefox instead of Chrome
- restoring the app to an earlier version
- restoring the website to an earlier version
- deleting and then installing the app again in Wix Studio
- contacting Customer Care about this but since I’m using the free plan, I doubt my ticket is of high priority, which is understandable
Another reason to believe Wix Blocks is currently broken: I tried making a new blank app after trying to fix this one for a few days and I couldn’t because this pops up after a few seconds:

After trying a few times, I went back to the Custom Apps page in the workspace and saw this:
Has anyone else got problems with Wix Blocks? Wix Blocks is really handy for making components I can use across my whole website and it’s a shame it isn’t working for me at the moment.
