Hi, @Bhumika_chainani !!

It really depends on how you intend to use your Wix site.

For example, if you’re simply creating a basic homepage, showcasing your portfolio, or just using a form to receive inquiries from clients, then a lower-tier plan should be more than sufficient.

On the other hand, if you want to use your Wix site not just as a homepage but as more of a web system—meaning frequent, two-way data interactions—a higher-tier plan may become necessary. This might include things like a large membership service, use of large databases, or handling an increase in simultaneous users. While it’s probably not realistic to build something on the scale of Amazon using Wix, if you could, it’s easy to imagine you’d need the highest-tier plan available.

A large office building in a big city can handle a high volume of people without any problems, but if that same crowd suddenly floods a small office in the countryside, it would be overwhelmed. Conversely, building a skyscraper in a rural town where there’s little demand would be wasteful. The point is that the scale should match the actual needs.

It’s not that lower-tier plans are bad and higher-tier plans are good—what matters is whether the plan fits the scale and purpose of your site.

If, for instance, your goal is to approach a small number of high-quality clients and simply collect inquiries through a form, then a lower-tier plan is likely more than enough in terms of functionality. :innocent:

If there’s a specific feature that you absolutely need and it’s only available in a plan that’s one tier above the cheapest, then of course, you’ll need to choose the higher plan. However, in reality, most of the features included across the different plans are functionally the same. The main difference often lies not in the features themselves, but in their performance levels depending on the price.

Since you can upgrade your plan later, it might be a good idea to start with the cheapest plan and see how it goes. :innocent:

However, if you’re planning to run your site as an e-commerce platform, the lowest-tier plan probably won’t be sufficient. That’s definitely something to keep in mind.
