I want to provide an opt-in for wix event participants to add to our subscribing list. Right now, only wix-form or wix-booking has this feature, but not wix-event?
Any work around?
I need to send registration email, post-even email, and adding the opt-in to the subscriber list. Want to know how to do automations with all these. Should be possible if wix-event has the opt-in box, but currently doesn’t or I can’t find it.

I can neither
a) add the checkbox to the registration form
nor
b) change subsciption status via automation
The only way currently is csv import of participant list - but then I do not have proper DOI

It would be great to have an official solution for this.
Collecting marketing consent during event registration and automatically adding only opted-in participants to Subscribers seems like a very common workflow. At the moment, the available workarounds either require manual CSV imports or don’t preserve a proper double opt-in process.
Hopefully the Wix team can clarify whether this is on the roadmap or suggest a supported approach.
