I’m looking for some clarification on Wix Automations and Site Member roles, and I’m hoping someone can confirm whether what I’m trying to do is possible.
Here’s what I want to achieve:
When a visitor signs up for one of our online events (using the standard Wix Events RSVP form), I would like them to automatically:

Become a Subscriber (so they can receive our updates and emails)

Become a Site Member with a specific Member Role (e.g., VIP Member)
The idea is that anyone who registers for an event through RSVP is immediately added to our CRM as a subscriber and also gains access to our members-only content area.
However, I’ve noticed the following:

When using the “Guest RSVPs” trigger in automations, I do not see the “Add to Role” action.

The actions available seem more limited than the standard Wix Events triggers like “RSVP confirmed”.

I’m unsure whether it’s a platform limitation or if I am missing a setup step.
My question:
Is it currently possible for an automation to turn an event RSVP (using the basic RSVP flow) into both a Subscriber and a Site Member with a role?
If yes:

Which trigger/action combination should be used?

Do I need to enable or configure something specific in my Members Area to unlock the “Add to Role” action?
If no:
- Is there a recommended workaround for automatically assigning member roles when someone registers for an event?
