Automations "SEND EMAIL" vs "GET EMAIL"

Hi group !
I was wondering why there is such a difference in SEND AN EMAIL and GET AN EMAIL within the Automations ? The SEND AN EMAIL option lets you edit the template and add variables to the email sent, but it is sent to the contact that filled the form.
If I choose GET AN EMAIL, there is no template I can edit. Just a basic email.

I have tried the “Include details of trigger in the email”, but I can’t change the way it looks and it currently looks really sloppy.

I have tried Triggered Emails with code, but I can’t seem to find my way. I posted in the Velo Forum but no answer yet.

Would it be possible to get the same “email template” in the GET AN EMAIL option? It would be a life saver.

Get an email is for sending an email notification related to the automation. Like when I have a contact complete a workflow I set get an email to notify me and then I don’t have to constantly monitor the backend.

I agree, but it would be beneficial to be able to send yourself the email template with all the triggers’ details. Currently, if you check to include the triggers in the email, it’s not pretty at all…

I follow. Yeah that would be helpful.

Thanks for the detailed request! I’ll forward it to the team.
