Hello!
I’d like to ask if Editor X supports Before/ After Slider feature? If not, what’s the best alternative?
Example:
I tried some embed code but end up with fitting issue (scroll bar appears, image squeezed, responsiveness, etc.)
So I don’t know what method should I approach this?
Thanks
Hey @phanhlosophy-design !
The Wix App Market has a wide range of different apps available for cases like this. I found this option that seems to work well with EditorX - Before And After Slider | Wix App Market | Wix.com
Hi @noahlovell ! Thanks for the response! I did try this among other embed code options and the same kind of issue arrives: fitting. The scroll bar might show (image above), or blank space (image below).
With embed code, the problem is that the iFrame embed code frame can’t be resized with the photo, leaving a huge blank space at the bottom in smaller breakpoints.
With the widget you mentioned, I need to put the photos in gallery layout and the item frames seem not to be resized as well, leaving a space underneath.
No worries! Hmm, the Velo forum and/or Velo Discord might be best to help with the code. It might be possible to adapt them for your specific needs.
Good luck!
For now, I ended up using the scroll reveal feature for continuous photos stacked vertically. So it does serve the purpose of showing before/after. It’s just that it’s no longer in the same frame using slider, but being stacked vertically and using scroll to see changes.
