I would like to know if there is any way to switch a picture highlighting the (before and after) possibly with a button but not using the Wix before and after slider?

What are you trying to achieve:
We are currently creating a site for our remodeling company and would like to show the before an after of some of our projects. We do not like the Wix “before and after slider” and would much prefer to do this with a button/link. We have seen this functionality on other websites but we believe these sites were developed in WordPress. I have included a link below from another remodeling site to show as an example. You will see the black button on the left lower side within their page.
