hello, i am very new to wix and website development in general, so many things are not very intuitive to me.
At the moment i am at an experimental page to just test the water. I added an app called right click protect to my site. I don’t know how to pull up its settings and how to deactivate it. Where are the app settings that the apps instruction page refers to? This isn’t clear to me at all. How can i deactivate it now?

Go to the page in your editor where you added the Right Click Protect app and it should be there somewhere as a text box with id name of copyrights.
If you click on the settings when you have that box highlighted, then you can edit it to your liking by changing the text shown and changing the font and colour used.
You can simply right click it and delete it to get rid of it off your website as in theory you should only have added it once, however you will need to delete it off of every page that you added it if you have added it more than once!
I didn’t realise it actually added a text box. I assumed it was a background setting that functioned more like a plugin.
Problem now is i definitely can’t remove the setting. I tried finding it in the app market. I found it there where it allowed me to “add again”…i can then find the text box and setting. I can add it and delete it, but this isn’t deactivating the app. I can’t right click on photos on my website.
Edit: wait a minute, i just realised that right click is already disable on the normal galleries with or without the app. Is this case? This is the reason for the confusion. If so, what’s the point of the app?
The right click disable that is incorporated into a gallery is just for the gallery, so it will only work for the gallery pictures only.
Whereas the Right Click app itself, disables the right click option on all of your website.
