Best practices for linking Size Guide pages on Wix e-commerce stores?

Hi Wix Community,

I am optimizing our e-commerce store (Jacket Era) to improve user experience and SEO for our apparel products.

We have created a dedicated Size Guide page: Size Guide - Jacket Era

I have a few questions regarding the best setup on Wix:

  1. What is the most seamless way to link this Size Guide on individual product pages? Should it be a pop-up lightbox or a direct link/tab?

  2. Does opening the Size Guide in a lightbox affect SEO indexation for that page compared to a standalone URL?

  3. Any recommended Wix apps or code snippets for adding interactive measurement calculators?

Would love to hear how other store owners handle size charts! Thanks in advance for your insights.

Native way first: build the size chart once as an info section (Products > select products > More Actions > Add info sections > + New Info Section). If you later edit that section, Wix applies it to every product that has it. This is for the newer product page; if a product’s first field is “Images and videos”, you have the previous version and the steps differ.

Keep your standalone Size Guide page and link to it from the info section text. A lightbox keeps shoppers on the product page, while a standalone URL can be indexed by itself. I haven’t verified how Google treats lightbox content, so I wouldn’t rely on it for SEO. I can’t vouch for a specific calculator app.
