Block links from member profile Overview

Wix Member Profiles, I’m struggling to keep scam & spam out of the community.

Most new users the last few months are just creating a login then copy-paste a segment in their profile with a call to action and link to some web garbage, such as English lessons, academic paper writing services, and other links off-site which no one wants on their website.

Is there a way to code the Wix Member #about1 section to eliminate links from the text section of the profile area?

I would like to keep the option to offer a URL for specific (trusted) members or otherwise continue to offer social links in the customized fields.

The ‘about’ section us part of a built-in profile app and you can’t add input validation to it.
You can crate a custom profile form and info display of your own (using input and text elements) then you’ll be able to do it using code.
