Is it possible to center the blog post header text?
and, Why are the changes I make to text in the editor>post>settings>design, not reflecting in the posts?

What are you trying to achieve:
I seem to be able to center the other text styles and positions, but not the post heading ‘add a catchy title’. I tried to create a workaround by skipping this section and creating a header underneath, but I can’t save or publish without a ‘catchy title’.
Furthermore, the changes I make to the headings and paragraph settings in the editor>post>settings>design box are not reflected in the actual posts in the dashboard>manage posts>editor.
What have you already tried:
All of the above. Editor>post>settings>design options do not include text position. The ‘Manage Posts’ section in the dashboard provides the option to align other text styles, but not the Post Heading.
