▷ [bug] wix booking in editor x

Good morning all,

I am speaking to the wix editor x team,
There seems to be a bug when adding the wix booking plugin. My clients have given me several feedback on this, and it seems to hinder the user experience.

I explain myself through this video:

1-

It would appear that the back button is not working. Instead of going back to the previous page that I visited at the beginning of the video (below), this one just refreshes the page.

2-

In the second video, it looks like no link in my menu is working. However, the menu works perfectly on all the other pages except on the booking page of wix booking!
In this example, I’m just looking to go back to my home page by clicking on my menu logo. This usually redirects me to the home page. However, as soon as I click on the logo, it automatically redirects me to the “my services” page of wix booking.

[PROBLEM 2 FIXED]

I sincerely hope that the two bugs mentioned above will be fixed as soon as possible!

The bug is still present, do we have any news from the wix team?

Damn, almost two and a half months without wix giving any news on this subject. It’s a bug that is really disturbing for my clients!What are you doing the editor x team? Will this bug be corrected? it’s starting to do a lot … !

I come back after 3 month with no response from wix editor x …

The bug concerning the menu links seems to be fixed. However, the “back” button of the wix booking calendar still does not work, it’s annoying.

I really hope the wix team will see this topic …

Fix this ASAP please the wix team!

When are we going to get a wix response? The back button of wix booking still does not work, and when loading a calendar of a service in question directly via a link, all services are displayed for 2 seconds before displaying the calendar. Test for yourself, it’s quite surprising you will see, the bug occurs on laptop and smartphone !

These are two major bugs that have not been resolved for 8 months. What are you waiting for wix?

First of all I’m sorry to see you didn’t get any response on this comment. We saw this now and are looking into it with the booking app experts. Will update as soon as we find the solution for this.

Indeed, you have just solved my problem ! :grin:The problem came from the link of the “bookings-checkout” page which was previously named “reservation”. I don’t know why this has changed but whatever it works much better! Thank you for helping me, without you, impossible to suspect that the problem came from a name change on the links

On the other hand another bug appears on my background, on my site, about wix booking @noasp & @carmelsc .

When I click on the back button on the reservation, my background is not positioned in the same way at all.

Tested by yourself directly on this page by clicking on the right block “En cabinet”, once the reservation diary is loaded, click on the back button located at the top left :

Can you pass that on absolutely to the tech team please? Thank you in advance :smiley:

Hi @lukasjacqueline Thanks for sharing this issue. We passed it on to the tech team who are looking into this. In the meantime, if possible, you may want to try to change the scroll behavior on the image from Parallax to something else and see if this helps.

I’m Carmel from the Editor X team. Continuing this thread, we think that maybe you entered a broken link on this page:

This results in redirecting to the ‘Service list’ page , and immediately after redirecting to the calendar. And causes similar behavior when you press ‘back’ on the calendar.

To fix the issue, try changing the link. If this doesn’t work, please let us know and we will try to work with you to fix.
