Building an online community with Wix Studio

Hello everyone. I am a web developer that is currently building an online community for local creative industries (actors, dancers, producers looking for talents or places to shoot). I came across Wix Studio, which seems to have huge potential to build this online community. After some research, it seems like the Wix Apps are not customizable enough for the features I need.

Some features I need:

*Allow members to have a private profile which they can customize to their needs (add CV, photos, embeded videos, text) and currently Wix Members App is a bit limiting in this sense. It’s only possible to have an “About me” field and that’s it. How can I allow users to add video and photos to their profiles, as well as their CVs?

*Each member should only be able to see their own profile and not other members’ profiles but producers will have a different role and will be able to see everyone’s profiles and be able to search and filter member’s profiles by characteristics like hair color or height. Is it possible to achieve this just with the Wix Apps? Or do I have to build everything from scratch with CMS and Forms?

*Producers can create casting calls and invite members to a private space where talents can exchange self tapes for that specific casting call (can I also achieve this without any code and just with CMS?)

*Library with places to shoot with all details of the place and contact button from place owner. Owners can register on the website and insert their own place to rent for shooting (Is this possible to achieve just with CMS in Wix Studio?)

I need an expert opinion on these features since I’ve never used any Wix product and just testing it now.

Is it possible to have members creating their accounts with paid subscription and different roles just with CMS or do I always need the Wix Members app in this scenario?

I’m thinking another solution could be having both solutions: Wix Members app for members management and then creating from scratch with CMS a “profile” feature to allow users to create and customize their own profile with videos, CV and photos?

I would say, everything what you have described is possible to be generated by wix.

Not everything will be given out of the box by wix. You can take the Wiix-Members-App as a Basic function on your site and expand it’S functionality and features on your own, by generating / writing some (more or less complicated) code, to get your wished additional functions connected to Wix-Members-App.

You can…
-generate roles
-generate badges
-generate profile-pages (dynamic)
-generate diffrent LOGINS (2-way-logins)
-you can control permissions for each single member if you want.
-you can build your own SEARCH & FILTER-ENGINES
-you can add new elements, which are not provided by wix ( you will have to code them on your own, but possible)

If you do not just use out-of-the-box-wix-stuff, you can generate what ever you want.
