Bulk Site Member - Hugh blockage

Question:
How to bulk filter, change or delete Site Members to keep your mailing list clean with more than 50k Contacts?

Wix Editor, Wix Studio Editor

The Problem
After sending an email campaign to my list of 70k Site Members I made a mistake because I was sending also to inactive members and now Wix has blocked my Email Marketing Account. That was stupid, I know. Now let’s fix this.

What are you trying to achieve:
Bulk clean the list and continue to work with the Marketing Campaign Account

What have you already tried:
To fix this problem I cleaned my list externally and imported the complete list and labeled the contacts with:

1. “Never spend e-mail accounts”
2. “Bounced email accounts”
   The import even added a 10k more contacts, and now we would to delete all contacts that have never opened their email or bounced.

But deleting 10k+ contact is not working if those contacts are also a Site Member.

Question
How can we delete Site Members in large quantities, bulk?
How to change statuses of Site Members in Unsubscribe in large quantities, bulk?

My Suggestions

1. In CMS, label all contacts that are ready to delete or unsubscribe. → Not possible
2. In contacts, segment all relevant contacts and bulk unsubscribe → Not possible
3. In contacts, manage a segment and bulk add badge (than delete them in Site Members) → Not possible
4. So something with Velo → not possible (I think?)

Suggestion from WIX

1. Just “simple” delete the Site members manually
2. Simple change their status subscription status in Contacts to Unsubscribed (Manually!)

Advise and help?
Can Wix support help to get into the CSM and label for us?
As Wix platform is a database which would be able to select and label not manually but in bulk…

Feature request
Site member bulk filter, segments, changes etc. working with larger customer databases.

If anyone could help that would be fantastic.

Thanks for the suggestion to make a feature request but that won’t solve the problem within 1 year I guess.

If you would have any suggestions how to solve this for the short time that would make my day.

Workaround found:

With many thanks to Victor (from Wix support) we found a work around.

1. create a segment (e.g. “Bounced to be deleted”)
2. create a automation (e.g. “add badge to delete”)
3. run automation automatically one the background
4. go to site members and now you would have multiple sitemembers attached to a badge which you can delete.
