I would love to see more animations come to buttons. Right now our buttons are mostly the same and don’t allow for too many unique designs. Listed below are some animations I think would be great.
- Icon Animations
- Currently only showing an icon on hover is not smooth and is causes problems on the normal view. We need to be able to easily show and hide the icon on hover
- Other animations for the icon on hover like pulse, bounce, grow, etc. would be great.
- Background Color Animations
- Shutter Effect (Horizontal in/out, Vertical in/out)
- Sweep (right, left, bottom, top)
- Bounce (right, left, bottom, top)
- 2D Animations
- Bounce in/out
- Pulse
- Shrink
- Grow
- Rotate
- Skew
- Buzz/Shake
- Combination
- Being able to combine these animations together to create an animation on the button and icon would be fantastic. It would also be great if we could combine a grow animation with a pulse animation and etc.
