Can collapsed strips make a Wix Page 100% faster?

Hey everyone!
So a clients site loading time was above 6 seconds according to Pingdom and around 20 seconds according to Test My Site from Google when tried at first.

Then I thought I would try to make all strips collapsed at load time to make the page faster. Then one by one expanding while the user scrolls down on the page.

This trick seem to work because the page was loaded in on 317 ms according to Pingdom and in 6 seconds according to Test My Site from Google.

That is a huge difference so now to my question. Does this technique have any solid ground form the Wix Code team so we know that this is good procedure? Am I just lucky on this one or it is so called best practice to use this?

I must also say that we used the Page Rendering System on both solutions but that did not have the affect we was hoping hope. I know Wix Code teams work hard on the rendering thing but just wanted to throw out this to get some feedback.
