Does anyone know if aside from Members Info, Blog, Forum, etc,… can customers buy from your store via the Mobile Wix App? If so how do you enable this. I dont see options to add the store app…

This is Natalia from mobile app product team. It’s a great feedback, since we’ve just added store for members in OneApp. You can invite your clients to shop directly from the app now. We are rolling this out this feature gradually and it will be fully open to users in few weeks.
OK great… so what are the steps please because im not aware of OneApp. Is this separate from Wix or a third party? Appreciate more details to offer this to my customers. This way they can buy, communicate all in one app rather than the site
@maaubry sorry, i meant Mobile Wix App, the one you’ve mentioned. And yes, with the store in the app, your clients can browse your product catalog, add products to cart and do checkout directly from the app. Also, they can see the list of their orders and track the statuses.

The Store tab should automatically appear in the member view of the app next to Blog, Forum, etc. You should be able to see it yourself. If you don’t see it now, can you please share your website and i’ll make sure you’ve been added to this feature? As I mentioned, we’ve started gradual roll out and it’s still not open to all users.

Since i do a lot of client testing, would be great to get them to comment on how this works vs the site. Wix used to have a amazing app before where people could shop from the app. This was discontinued which was a shame.
I’ve just added you to the experiment, you suppose to see Store tab now.
Answering your question about the difference between shopping in the app vs web, the main goal of adding store for members in the app right now was to unlock the experience. First of all, we wanted to enable members to do checkout directly in the app, make it native. It might be more convenient comparing to the web, since you already logged in as user and you might save credit card and re-use it each time during the checkout. Also, it’s easier to check order statuses for members right now.
In the future, we want to enhance the experience and are thinking about adding the ability to provide special offers or announce new in/best sellers collections to app members.
There are several ideas and we hope to talk to our great users to ask their opinion what they will need in store in orders to bring more value for their business. If you are open for a talk, we’d be happy to setup the call and discuss your feedback. It will help us a lot!
@nataliaz OK, i see now as admin in Member view the Shop. However, the Shop is not available to a member in their view
@nataliaz Thanks. I just replied up somewhere that the Shop is viewable as Admin in Member View but not as a Member. Not sure what I missed. Also, this is great. My customers have been screaming to bring the app back and not use web all the time. If this will help the experience that will be great so long as the full ordering and shipping and payment features remain the same as the web. Its at least a choice for them.

The app is AMAZING bonus for clients who use WIX integrations. Your clients customers can easily buy from the store, events, paid plans, or booking services directly from the app. You need to enable each separately when setting it up. Since you don’t see it, you’ve likely not enabled them all.
Can someone tell me if it’s possible to just add certain collections to the “Shop” tab in the Wix Mobile App? I have restricted pages for my wholesale clients via member roles so only they can see them, yet this restriction does not apply in the Wix Mobile App. It brings in the “all products” collection making everything including wholesale products visible to everyone…how do I NOT show the restricted products (via a collection) unless the member has that role assigned? Or not show those restricted collections at all?
