Question:
When installing the Wix Stores app, is utilizing the Wix Members app along with its login menu, members pages, etc, ‘mandatory’?

What are you trying to achieve:
When we added the Wix Stores app to our Wix Studio site, the additional Wix Members app was also automatically installed and a default login menu was added to our header. Just wondering if these things are ‘required’ when using Wix Stores, or just ‘recommended’ for best user experience?
This store will be pretty simple and primarily for single purchases that will not be shipped to the purchaser (i.e., like a one-time gift for someone else). So unsure if we need all the extra complexity of member pages, login, etc. As long as the user info is captured with the store order, that should suffice I would imagine.

Should we just remove the login menu from our header?

If so, would that effectively hide the other members pages from the customer (and/or search engines I suppose)?

What other back-end benefits does having the Members app add to the Stores app (i.e, for our use and benefit only, not the customers’)?
